ECBA Certification Steps
ECBA: Entry Certificate in Business Analysis™

Attend all classes to satisfy the required education requirement.

Register to create your IIBA Profile.

Request IIBA Membership and ECBA application and exam fee coupons through MicroTrain. Send an email to BA@microtrain.net.

Submit your ECBA application on the last day of class.

Schedule your ECBA exam.

Review the MicroTrain Certified Business Analysis presentation slides.

Take the Certified Business Analysis - IIBA practice exam. Log in to your theprofessional.me account, navigate to Certified Business Analysis - IIBA course, found under Current and Past Classes section, and click Practice Test.

Qualify for MicroTrain Exam Guarantee, within one (1) year from voucher start date, take two (2) practice exams in the certification mode with a score of 90% or better on both, and sit for certification exam within 30 days

Schedule ECBA exam. The ECBA™ exam is a live, web-delivered exam that you write from a desktop computer or laptop. When you take this exam, you must have:

Take the ECBA exam. The certification should be taken within 7 days of completing the course. The exam contains 50 multiple choice questions, and you have one hour to complete it. Upon completion of the exam, you will see the overall pass/fail test results.

Upload photocopy of certification results in your theprofessional.me account. Log in to your theprofessional.me account, click Get Certified in the navigation bar, then navigate to Exam: ECBA: Entry Certificate in Business Analysis and click the hyperlink next to Date, verify exam date, choose a to upload, and record the results.
IIBA Membership and Exam Payment Process (WIOA workforce funded candidates only)
- Score a 90% or better on two (2) practice exam available through your theprofessional.me account
- Email your request for IIBA membership, application and exam payment coupons to ba@microtrain.net. Please include a screenshot of Watermark Learning practice exam result. Don't worry about sending a screenshot from theprofessional.me because we already have access to those results.
- MicroTrain will send you an email with the coupon codes for membership, application, and exam fee. Please allow one week from the time we receive your request.
